The Prichard Area Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary partnership of businesses and professional people working together to build a healthy economy and to improve the quality of life in the Prichard Area. Therefore, the Chamber works hard to be an advocate for small businesses and community affairs,
a center of tourist information,
and a cultural awareness promoter.
A Message From Our
President
Dear Members & Visitors:
I am excited to serve as the President of the Prichard
Area Chamber of Commerce. I am optimistic that the 2007-year will
be the best the Chamber has ever had. We have excellent Board
Members who come with a drive to work together and achieve the goals we
have set. However, the job of running the Prichard Area Chamber of
Commerce (PACC) goes far beyond what any one man or woman can do. We ,
each of us, are the Chamber of Commerce. We all bring something
unique to the table and I look forward to seeing the impact that we can
make in our communities, county and state.
The PACC is proud to
offer the business and the residential community a comprehensive website
offering an array of information about the Prichard area. We strive to
provide you with current information and pertinent links that we believe
will be most useful in meeting your needs. We urge you to navigate the
site to see what's going on the City of Prichard and within the Chamber
community.
The PACC is an advocate
for businesses, helping members to succeed by growing their businesses
and prospering through networking, business management assistance,
exposure, education and referrals.
Many business owners have commented to me that they
have “tried” the Chamber and that it does not work, does not give them a
return on the money invested in their chamber membership. I challenge each of you
to try it again in 2007, as you will notice positive changes within the
Chamber. We are excited
to promote each of you and to do all we can to encourage others to do
business with you.
Most important, we need each of
our members to ATTEND our functions. I understand as a
business owner you may not be able to make it, but please do send a
representative from your business. We will make it worth your while.
We are looking forward to a great year and I am looking forward to
meeting each of you. Please do introduce yourself to me at chamber
luncheons and other events, and more importantly- GET INVOLVED! You will
see a positive effect on your business!
If the PACC staff or
Board of Directors can further assist you, please do not hesitate to
contact the Chamber by email at
chamber@prichardchamber.com
or by telephone at 251-452-2760.
Sincerely,
Cederick D. McMillan
